This para-professional qualification prepares you for employment as an Engineering Associate/Technical Officer. It comprises competencies to develop, select, commission, maintain and diagnose faults/malfunctions of computer and network components/sub assemblies, apparatus and renewable energy systems. The Diploma has a focus on developing breath, depth and complexity of skills to enable the individual to plan and when required initiate alternative approaches to the applications of skills or knowledge across a broad range of technical and/or management requirements. It is expected that the diplomate will be self directed individual capable of analysing and planning approaches to a problem for action by themselves or a technical team.
