Geo-technician
Also known as: Geoscience Technician, Field Technician
Geoscience technicians assist geologists, engineers and geophysicists in finding and developing mineral and energy resources.
Duties
- order, check, pack and ship equipment and supplies for field surveys;
- manage small field camps;
- mark outlines of ore, waste and drill hole patterns;
- collect, record and transport ore samples;
- undertake specific geophysical surveys;
- collate information;

Salary
$40 000 - $75 000
